The most common resume mistakes. Part 1

So, there are some things you gotta watch out for when you’re making your resume.

First up, spelling and grammar mistakes – they’re super common and can make you look unprofessional. Make sure you proofread it and maybe ask a friend to take a look too.

Another thing is being too general. You need to be specific about your skills and achievements. Don’t just say you did stuff, give examples of what you did and how it helped.

Also, don’t make your resume too long or too short. Keep it to one or two pages and focus on the most important stuff.

Don’t include irrelevant info either, like your hobbies or personal details. Stick to the stuff that’s relevant to the job you’re applying for.

Using a generic template is a no-go too. You want your resume to stand out, so customize it to fit you and the job you’re applying for.
