Does an L1 visa have quotas?

L-1 visas do not have quotas, which means there is no set limit on the number of L-1 visas that can be issued in a given year. However, there are certain requirements that individuals must meet in order to be eligible for an L-1 visa, and not all individuals who apply will necessarily be approved.

In order to qualify for an L-1 visa, individuals must have been employed by their current employer for at least one year within the past three years, and they must be coming to the United States to work in a managerial or executive capacity, or to work in a position that requires specialized knowledge. Additionally, the employer must have a qualifying relationship with a company in the United States, such as a subsidiary, branch, or affiliate, and the individual must be transferring to that company in the United States to work in a similar capacity.
